Can the coaching also be conducted online?
Yes, we are fully qualified for online individual and team coaching and offer the right methods and technical setup to create effective virtual learning spaces.
Who are the intercultural training courses designed for?
- Leaders and managers who work with employees from different cultural backgrounds and make decisions that require cultural sensitivity.
- HR and recruiting teams who work with international applicants or employees and need to design fair and culturally sensitive processes.
- Employees involved in international projects.
- Expats and their families: preparation for an international assignment, including adapting to a new culture and managing culture shock.
- Sales and customer service teams who interact with international clients or partners.
- Students and researchers participating in exchange programmes or international collaborations.
Do you also provide customised training for companies?
Yes, we provide fully tailored training. Together with the client, we identify the relevant topics and competencies, and we design customised content with flexible formats and practical, application‑oriented methods.
Why are digital and intercultural competences inseparably linked today?
Intercultural competence and digital competence are closely linked today because global collaboration increasingly takes place in digital environments. Here are the key connections:
- Digital communication is often intercultural.
- Digital tools require cultural sensitivity.
- Remote work intensifies cultural differences.
- Digital competence is not only about technical skills, but also about recognising these differences and responding respectfully.
- Intercultural competence is an essential part of digital professionalism.
How long is each seminar?
The length of a seminar depends largely on the learning objectives, the complexity of the topic and the level of transfer desired. In many cases, two days are a very good choice – and there are clear reasons for this:
- Depth instead of surface‑level knowledge:
Two days make it possible not only to convey content, but also to practise and reflect on it. - Practical orientation and transfer: From a learning‑psychological perspective, it is essential that participants apply what they have learned. With two days, exercises, case studies and discussions can be integrated to ensure effective transfer into everyday work.
- Time for interaction and questions.
- Sustainable learning outcomes.
How does intercultural coaching differ from traditional coaching?
The difference between intercultural coaching and traditional coaching lies mainly in the focus and the competences that are developed.
Traditional coaching focuses on personal development, leadership skills, career goals or resolving individual challenges – usually within a familiar cultural framework.
Intercultural coaching, however, goes further by taking into account the dynamics between different cultures. It supports individuals in acting successfully in international or culturally diverse contexts.
It also addresses additional topics such as culturally influenced differences in behaviour, managing cultural misunderstandings, adapting leadership styles to different cultures, and developing intercultural sensitivity and empathy.
Is INQA coaching actually eligible for funding?
Yes, and ilvy is fully authorised.
